CeraVe House
CeraVe Canada's first pop-up in the country ran March 1 to 5, 2023, in downtown Toronto. bicom produced the media and creator days and the consumer event. Toronto was the test market for the brand's Canadian PR strategy.
Two targeted media pitches and a founder interview program. In three months the brand earned coverage in the Toronto Star, Postmedia, La Presse, Montecristo and Hello Canada.
The Paris brand opened its Maisons in Toronto and Montréal. bicom briefed the team on Canadian and Québec media, handled interview requests and filled each opening with media, KOLs and creators.
Ongoing media and influencer work runs on a monthly retainer. Launches and events are quoted as projects. A first call is enough to scope the work and send a quote.
What does an influencer marketing agency in Toronto do?
It builds and runs creator programs for a brand. bicom handles talent identification, negotiations, contracts, briefs, content approvals, paid amplification and reporting. In Toronto, the team brought 18 local creators to Avène's Mother's Day brunch and selected the Toronto creators for the CeraVe Hair Care launch.
How long before we see media coverage?
It depends on the news value and the outlet. Online and social coverage can land within days of a launch. Print and broadcast features need longer lead times.
Do you handle both English and French media?
Yes. The Toronto team covers English-language media across Canada and the Montréal team covers French-language media in Québec. A national campaign runs from one brief and one report.
Which industries does bicom work with in Toronto?
Mostly consumer brands: beauty and skincare, fashion, food and beverage, home, retail and entertainment. Recent Toronto work includes CeraVe, Sézane, Garnier and Bouclair.
How do you measure PR results?
Every mandate reports placements, reach, impressions and engagement, with a link to each piece. Events add attendance and the content produced. Hettas reached 163M impressions in three months.
