One brief. Two markets. National reach.French-language media in Québec and English-language media across Canada.
bicom is an integrated communications agency founded in Montréal in 2006, with an office in Toronto. It specializes in public relations, influencer marketing, social media and brand experiences. Its campaigns combine earned media, creator partnerships, content and experiential activations to get brands noticed in Québec and across Canada.
The agency works with beauty, fashion, food, lifestyle and retail brands, including Lancôme, Vichy, SkinCeuticals, Hilo by Hydro-Québec, Strøm Nordic Spa and Quartier DIX30. The work builds awareness and, more importantly, keeps brands relevant long after launch day.
bicom brings strategy, public relations, influencer marketing, experiential and digital amplification together in one team. Every discipline works from the same strategy, so the story stays consistent from one channel to the next.
We find the angle that gets journalists interested and makes a brand more credible. That covers communications strategy, media positioning, storytelling, press materials, targeted pitching, interview coordination, media monitoring and results reporting.
We build creator programs that earn trust and real engagement, and we run every stage ourselves: finding the right talent, negotiating, contracts, briefs, content approvals, paid amplification and reporting.
We design brand experiences that bring people together and get them talking. Our team takes care of the creative concept, production, programming, guest list, media and creator relations, on-site execution and post-event amplification.
We plan content and paid support so each campaign reaches further and lasts longer. Organic social, creator content, earned media and paid distribution work together, and a single launch becomes steady visibility with engagement you can measure.
One strategy. One team. One consistent brand story, activated across earned, shared, owned, paid and experiential channels.

Montréal PR and influencer campaigns
A foundation, a Nordic spa and a shopping destination. Three mandates, three disciplines, each with a number the client could take to the board.
Media relations
Lise Watier Foundation
The Foundation launched S'Entreprendre, a program that helps women in need become financially independent. bicom took the program to Québec media: press releases before and after the launch event, inviting journalists and hosting them on site, managing interviews, and telling the stories of three women who graduated from the program. bicom has worked with the Foundation since 2016.
To launch four new products in its BORÉAL skincare line, Strøm asked bicom to help run a small, immersive event in Mont-Saint-Hilaire for beauty and lifestyle creators: a skincare workshop, a guided meditation, then time to enjoy the spa. bicom built the guest list, coordinated the invitations and creative mailers, welcomed guests on site and followed up to secure content. All 17 guests showed up.
As part of its annual mandate, bicom organized the June 2025 opening of Avenue des Lumières, the new green space at Quartier DIX30. More than 50 creators and members of the media came out, along with Brossard mayor Doreen Assaad. bicom managed the VIP area suppliers, the entertainment (stilt walkers, a DJ, a photographer and videographer, photo booths) and the ribbon cutting.
Ongoing media and influencer work runs on a monthly retainer. Launches and events are quoted as projects. A first call is enough to scope the work and send you a quote.
What's the difference between public relations and media relations?
Media relations is about the press: landing articles, interviews and segments. Public relations is broader. It builds a brand's reputation with all of its audiences, through media, creators, partners and events. bicom does both.
What does an influencer marketing agency in Montréal do?
It builds and runs creator programs for a brand. bicom handles talent identification, negotiations, contracts, briefs, content approvals, paid amplification and reporting. For the launch of Strøm Nordic Spa's BORÉAL line, all 17 invited creators attended and generated 80 social media mentions.
How long before we see media coverage?
It depends on the news value and the outlet. Online and social coverage can land within days of a launch. Magazines, TV and radio need longer lead times.
Do you handle both French and English media?
Yes. The Montréal team covers French-language media in Québec and the Toronto team covers English-language media across Canada. A national campaign runs from one brief and ends with one report.
Which industries does bicom work with in Montréal?
Mostly consumer brands: beauty and skincare, fashion, food and beverage, home, retail and entertainment, along with organizations like the Lise Watier Foundation and shopping destinations like Quartier DIX30. For Lancôme, the coverage sold out Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum in Québec within days.
How do you measure PR results?
Every mandate reports placements, reach, impressions and engagement, with a link to each piece. Events add attendance and the content produced. For the Avenue des Lumières opening at Quartier DIX30, the report counted 198 guests, 112 mentions and 7.4M potential impressions.
